„Oh, baby,”

he whispered. Rye caught Lisa’s mouth beneath his and kissed her, loving her with slow movements of his tongue, both shaken and fiercely aroused by what she had said. Finally, reluctantly, he released her, because he knew that he was right on the edge of his self-control. He lay back on the blanket, his fingers interlaced beneath his head so that he wouldn’t reach out to the pink-tipped breasts that peeked out so temptingly from her unbuttoned blouse.

„How good a memory do you have?”

he asked huskily.

„I’m told it’s very good.”

„Close your eyes and remember every drop of water you saw on me. Can you do that?”

Eyes closed, smiling dreamily, Lisa said,

„Oh, yes.”

„They’re yours, every one of them. All you have to do is take them.”

Her eyes snapped open. She looked at Rye stretched out before her, watching her with a mixture of humor and sensual intensity that made her breath stop. Slowly she bent down to him, shivering as he did when her lips first touched his skin.

„There was one here,”

she said, kissing the base of his neck.

„And here…and here,”

she continued, nuzzling the length of his collarbone toward the center of his chest.

„And there was a tiny silver trickle here.”

Rye closed his eyes as Lisa’s pink tongue licked down the centre line of his chest, burrowing through his thick hair to the hot skin beneath.

„The drops went all the way down to your buckle,”

she said, hesitating, a question in her voice.

„God, I hope so.”

Smiling, Lisa continued down past Rye’s ribs, smoothing her mouth along the center of his body, testing the resilience of his flesh with her teeth and her tongue. When she reached the buckle she stopped, and Rye was tempted to tell her that the water had run beneath his clothes all the way to the soles of his feet. His breath came out in a rush when she kissed the skin just above his belt, nibbling all along his flat stomach. He locked his fingers together above his head to keep from reaching for her as her soft lips caressed in a random pattern across his ribs, stopping just short of a nipple hidden beneath curling black hair. When she continued on up to his collarbone without a pause, he made an inarticulate sound of disappointment.

„You missed some drops,”

he said thickly.

„I did? Where? Here?”

Lisa asked, touching Rye’s collarbone with the tip of her tongue.

„Lower.”

„Here?”

Her lips caught and tugged playfully on the hair curling in the center of his chest.

„That’s closer. Now go to the right.”

„Your right or mine?”

„Either way, honey. You’ll find it.”

Suddenly Lisa understood. She laughed softly.

„Of course. How could I have forgotten that water gathered there?”

Rye couldn’t answer, for she had found a flat nipple and was teasing it delicately, hotly, using teeth and tongue as he had on her. He made a hoarse sound of pleasure. When her fingers began to knead through the thick mat of his chest hair, he twisted his torso slowly, increasing the pressure of her touch. Her nails
